As one of the owners at Xybix, Ken joined the Xybix team right after graduating from the University of Denver in 1993. With a degree in International Studies and no knowledge of furniture or dispatch Ken hopped in with both feet. With an always growing passion for the industry, Ken was able to learn a little bit of everything and has helped Xybix grow into the company it is today.

I’ve been known to bore friends at the bar with talk of ergonomics. What can I say—I’m passionate about it. I know the height of the bar is wrong for the bartender’s lower back. I know the waiter’s hands must hurt from the position of the keyboard for entering orders. But when my friends need help with ergonomics, they know where to turn.

5 Tips for Evaluating a Technical Furniture Warranty

When I think of warranties, I think of health insurance. I’m not going to read the coverage because I don’t know what half of it means and I think (hope) nothing will happen. As a result, I don’t really know what’s covered until something happens. (Hello, Achilles tendon.) And then I have no idea what it will cost me. (Please don’t tear, Achilles. I hear you’re worth $6K. No idea on the out-of-pocket.)
