Now that we’re in the mid-swing of the holiday season a lot of us are dreading stepping on the scale. But there’s some good news; according to Doctor Deborah Balfanz the average American gains only one pound over the holidays. That averages out to about 100 calories per day over a month long period.
If you’re looking to skip the additional pound this year there are two options; skip the delicious holiday treats or burn off the excess. If you choose option one, more power to you. If you’d prefer to indulge there’s a very moderate amount of increased activity needed once you break down the numbers.
Here’s a quick list of activities that will burn about 100 calories. Remember adding only one of these per day can help counteract the holiday fluff.
