TURNING CHALLENGES INTO SUCCESS:
NOW WITH PROJECT MANAGMENT

When the Dickson County Emergency Communications Center needed to expand capacity without sacrificing comfort or efficiency, they partnered with Xybix to bring
their vision to life.

The result was a thoughtfully designed dispatch center that increased positions, improved workflow, and created a modern, ergonomic environment built to support operators for years to come.

A key part of that success was coordination. From vendors and timelines to installation and follow through, Xybix helped keep the project organized and moving smoothly. Something Dickson County’s team called out as a major win. That’s why we’re excited to officially announce that Xybix now offers Project Management Services.

PRODUCT HIGHLIGHT:
CONSOLE STATUS LIGHTS

Status lights play a critical role in 911
communication centers by providing clear visual indicators when a dispatcher is on a call, on the
radio, or needs assistance. Integrated directly into the console, they improve visibility, awareness, and safety across the room.

XYBIX INTERVIEWS:
Kari Morrissey w/ Anoka
Emergency Communications

After years of operating in a windowless basement facility, Anoka County Emergency Communications knew it was time for a change. The goal was to build a space that would better support the people who work there every day and adapt to the future of emergency communications. Working with Xybix, architects, and designers from the earliest planning stages, the team focused on intentional design choices that prioritized wellness, flexibility, and long term performance. The result is a modern, light filled center featuring ergonomic consoles, thought fully planned layouts, dedicated training areas, and amenities designed to support both mental and physical health. Since moving into the new facility, Anoka County has seen measurable improvements in training success, staff retention, and recruitment. This project is a powerful example of how investing in people-centered design can transform not just a space, but the experience of those who serve their communities every day.
